Spray Tanning Waiver

Spray tanning is accomplished by application of a solution containing the active ingredient: DHA (Dihydroxyacetone).

Your mobile spray tanning session will take place in the privacy and comfort of your home or an approved location. Females may undress to your personal level of comfort.  Dark undergarments or swimwear may also be worn, if preferred. Disposable undergarments are available upon request. Males must wear underwear or swim trunks, NO exceptions. The tanning solution will wash out of most clothing. It is best to wear dark, loose-fitting cotton clothing during the development of your tan. It is advised to wash the undergarment or clothing worn during/after your tanning session as soon as possible to avoid possible staining.

You will be airbrushed by a Certified Bronzing Artist. This process will take approximately 30 minutes. After spraying, your skin should be dry before getting dressed. Your Bronzing Artist will provide a personalized rinse time based on the solution selected for you. Until your designated rinse time, avoid water, showering, swimming, excessive perspiration, lotions, oils or other moisture that may interfere with your developing tan. Your color will continue to develop after your initial rinse and will take 24 hours to reach its final depth. Your solution contains a temporary cosmetic bronzer, which provides immediate color and assists with application. This cosmetic bronzer will rinse away during your first rinse and is separate from the actual developed tan.

Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is authorized by the FDA as a color additive for external application to the skin. During your spray tanning session, care is taken to minimize exposure to the eyes, lips, mucous membranes and inhalation or ingestion of the tanning solution. Protective measures are available upon request.

Be advised there is a small percentage of people whose skin may not react favorable to spray tanning. All ingredients used in this procedure are intended for cosmetic use and generally regarded as safe. There are, however, occasions where individuals may be allergic to one or more ingredients in the spray tan solution. For this reason, we do NOT advise being sprayed for the first time when your appearance is critical; (Wedding, Photoshoot, Prom, etc.)

Caution: If you are pregnant or nursing and have questions or concerns regarding spray tanning or DHA exposure, please consult your healthcare provider before your appointment.

Warning: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin to UV Light may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.

The spray tanning process has been explained to me and I hereby agree to allow Bluewater Bronzing, LLC to apply spray tan solution to my skin using the airbrush tanning process. To my knowledge, I have no medical condition or allergy which would preclude me from having this procedure done. I have been honest and accurate about the information that I have provided on this waiver. I take sole responsibility of any reaction I may have, staining of clothing and/or personal belongings. I agree to hold harmless Bluewater Bronzing, LLC of any medical complications that may arise and I have been advised to discontinue use if any reaction occurs.
